Idiots giude to oil temp/pressure guages
Anyone got an idiots guid to installing oil temp / pressure gauges into a MY04 STi (I assume any scoob will be similar).
The elctrical / physical gauge I am OK with, it's mainly the "where and how" at the engine.
I know the "temp" goes somewhere above cylinder, but what adaptors etc are needed.
Pressure sender, where how easy and what happens to the OEM sensor.
I am thinking of going for SPA dual gauge which uses electronic senders.
Cheers

I'm also collecting this info. This is what I have found out so far, don't know if it is correct.
Oil Temp
Bung is under the intercooler on the bugeyes, the thread is m18 1.5 pitch.
Oil Pressure
Under the alternator in place of the standard switch.
Sounds like it can be left off if you like (won't come on unless it is earthed). Also found a few things on sensors with place for it and T-pieces I don't understand.
Boost
T off the dump valve pipe.
