fitttng a boost gauge?

fitttng a boost gauge?
ive just bought a boost guage to fit to my 95 wrx import and the fitting instructions say to tap the inlet manafold gut it also comes with a t peice to fit into a pipe. Im wondering where the best place is to tap in to read the preassure. Any suggestions greatly appreciated..........

no need to tap the inlet manifold - there should be a small pipe coming from the top of the lhs of the inlet manifold - you can cut this and put your t - piece in and run off the t to your boost gauge.
not sure on a 95 which pipe it is, but you definatley don't have to tap the inlet manifold !

I heard that the best place to T into was the small dumpvalve pipe coming from the top of the manifold, thats where mine is and it gives a good reading.

T into the one that goes to the top of the dump valve, this is also the bigest pipe too.
