Default Any ideas?

Hi all,

sorry for putting this here but thought it may get hit more here then in security area.

I have a query which i hope some of you will have the answer to...

my mate has an 00 plate classic scooby i have a 99, his alarm is a sigma subaru standard just like mine..

However when his windows are down and he activates the alarm they go up. on mine they do not...!!!

i know on some other alarms this is an added feature, he inisists that it is totally standard.

Is there a setting for this?

Thanks

I've got a MY00, and the windows definitely don't go up on mine of their own accord. Proven by forgetting to close them, and then a gust of wind across the motion sensors setting the ******* alarm off 5 minutes later...

I wonder if there's a setting that enables this? I know that you can use the key pad in the glove box to set it to bleep when armed/disarmed. Maybe there's other stuff that can be set...?

Im sure thats only an aftermarket feature.

Some cars come with total closure from the factory ie BMW,but a scooby does not.

It must be an added module to the alarm.
