Cool New fuel pump

I have just bought a Walbro 285 Fuel pump, I am also getting a FSE regulator but that is not for a few weeks yet, will it be ok to fit the uprated fuel pump without fitting the uprated regulator at the same time?

Cheers

Steve

Hi Steve,

There's another thread that's touching on this subject as well, have a look here ....In short, think the uprated pump can "overwhelm" (if thats the right word) the standard FPR...but I'm no expert on the Scooby fuelling system

Cheers

I,ve been running the same pump on standard regulator for last 15 months, 15,000 miles with no problems (MY99). I've got the regulator to fit but just can't get the old one off!
