You'd probably notice this in conjunction with other things, ie, slight hesitation as it comes onto boost, however to get a better idea, disconnect the battery for an hour or so to reset the ecu....if the car hunts/stalls, runs badly generally when you re-connect, buy a new maf...pronto! If the car's done a few miles, the other possible to consider is the lamda.

Andy

The MAF in the MY01/02 bugeye seems pretty robust (some probs with running ITG Filters in some cases but pretty rare).

The ECU for the Bugeye also learns pretty quick so re-sets not always too heplful. You could buy a new MAF but the big problem is that because the bugeye is new the MAF comes with the housing as well so not cheap.

Is the Local dealer not helping ??
