thanks for the manual, methinks that I will be employing mr AndyF to do the mapping/set up so as to maximise its potential.

take your time setting it up and installing it as its about a 2 hour job to install and then it needs setting up.

Where's everyone put the display ? I've thought about putting it on the stand provided in the lift up compartment on top of the dash - with it closed, its not there, but can be viewed by opening the lid ...

?

ive melted credit cards in that cubby hole on top of the dash.
Also, the stand doesnt exactly have the mechanism to hold the unit, no bolt holes or owt.
I think it maybe a pretty pen holder

There is a plug/socket approx 600mm down the cable from the head unit which can be unplugged if it is left accessable. Car will still run with the head unit removed but will be on minimum boost all the time........ideal for leaving it with anyone

I've got a my95 so no lift up bit
I put mine in the corner by the A pillar on the apexi stand and used dblesided tape to stick it down, I ran the wire from ecu under dash and then up the side of the dash behind the removable end pannel hiding the wires.

LOL @ AndyF - 'ideal for leaving it with anyone '...

I'll take a look at putting mine under the top cover, with a grommet in the side(inside the cover) to take the cable to behind the glove box - where the socket will be accessible to plug in the flying leads.... (No doubt it will be 'easy' to reach from under the dash )

I have mine on the centre console, with enough spare lead such that I can pull it out and sit with it on my lap for setting up

Here's where I put mine. It's pretty secure but can be removed and hidden.
