Default millers oil cfs 10w60

thinking of using this in 96 sti2
anyone else use it and have any views on it/good or bad

very good hi-quality synth oil..................just not got the "brand" of Motul, etc..........there again you don't pay excess for their advertising campaigns!!!!!!!!

I think I've got loads of this oil in my garage from when I had my TVR, it might be a different grade though. I will check.

We use Millers oils in my mates STi6 rally car. Never had any problems with it.

think i will give it a try as i can get it a bit cheaper than motul or castrol

we deal with both (and Silkolene)..currently have a "deal" on for 4+2lrs............roughly works out at a 2ltr free when you buy the 4tlr at RRP!!

I use castrol 10w 60, i found it a bit thick, the car seemed a little rattley. Thined it down a touch with .5l of shell helix ultra and now it runs like a sewing machine.

Not sure if that's a good idea/bad idea, or what the equivelent is, just 10w 60 may be a bit thick.
