Thumbs up SVA HELP AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello peopel was wondering if you can help me with a question.

I am buying a car of a friend in Germany and was wondering what the laws are about driveing it on German plates? also it being a 2002 will it need a SVA test?? Any help will be great thanks in advance

should not need sva but will need to pay VAT when reg in uk... chris

with the car being a EU car like i said you will not need sva .. but you will need the original recept for the price you paid for the car and vat will be based on that ..i.e

if you paid £8500 for that car the vat (17.5%) would be £1487.5

just as example... better off ringing the DVLA and they will tell you all you need to no ...tel

i think this is the right no but you will get loads of choices lol.

you need information about importing a car from the EU
they are very good but its a matter of having patence lol with the phone..

or they will send you out and info pack....chris
