Question turbo problem

hi guys,

i got a standard r-reg turbo and recently the turbo has started to kick in at 3,500rpm rather then the usual 2500 and it seems alot weaker- i dont hav a boost gauge so i cant confirm this.

any ideas to what the problem can b??

thanx in advance

May be the wastegate solenoid sticking (common problem if oil filled to maximum on servicing). Cleaning it is easy with brake cleaner, do a search for full instructions.
