Hmm not sure what the best way of resolving this

Spent tonight fitting Air Con to my MY00 Uk Turbo,

1st lesson, check all pipework fits relevant holes before installing in the car !!!

Basically everything fits (some bits a bu66er to fit) and everything is installed in the car, bar checking torque settings, and testing & gassing

However my problem lies in the fact that the two pipes that connect to the air con rad DO NOT fit the holes, im not sure if Subaru decided to change the sizes by 1mm (or slightly less), but that appears to be the difference and the pipes will not go in, so unless I remove everything, then I cant drive the car

Im not sure what year the rad came from, but the rest came from a 99/00 car

Does anyone know if there is a difference

Not sure wether to try and source another RAD, or some pipes, or alternatively file down the ends so I can fit them, and hope they dont leak

If I dont get it fixed, then I wont be going to NBO

anyone in the north west are got a spare Rad I can try my pipes on

Just been out again, and the condenser I have got, the large pipe hole, has a recess, so its definatly the wrong one for a MY00, either that or the pipes I have got are wrong for the condenser

Anyone got a spare condenser or air con pipe work lying around, need it pretty urgently

try a topup valve i think 8mm dia thread soft brass with a copper tube on it might be some use you can find these in fridge/washer spares shop tell him you braze these into fridge motors for topping the gas cart think of anything else

Sorted now, picked up some pipes from an older MY

The Rad definatly is different between the MY's
