Replacing the winscreen ?
Is it easy to do?
Anyone know where to get good secondhand glass from for a MY99 sport. Near Rochdale.
Don't fancy paying the £350 my insurance company want, when i can get it done new from autoglass for £320.

have you tried rac autowindscreens. go onto WWW .RACAUTOWINDSCREENS.co.uk website or even www.rac.co.uk and look for the link.look out for the nearest branch and ring them for a quote.guarentee you will definately beat the prices you have had.[QUOTE=BaldyMan]Is it easy to do?

I find it difficult to beleive an insurance company will charge so much more (sum of both excess's and the glass one being £100 instead of £50).
Deffinately something wrong there.
Do you have fully comp and windscreen cover?
IMO,a s/h front screen is not worth it,but then it will only cost me £50.
