Default Petrol smell from 02STi

For the past year I have been smelling petrol when I get out of my 02 STi after driving through bends at moderate speeds. It happens when I have more than half a tank of petrol. The smell is definately coming from the rear offside, which is the same side as the fuel filler. However, my dealer has checked the petrol tank filler seals etc. for leaks and says everything is OK.

Has anybody else had this problem and solved it?

Could it be anything to do with the petrol fumes carbon filter, however that works?

I had this when they fitted the replacement fuel pump with the PPP. I took it to different Subaru garage for it's first service and I asked them to check it out.

When I picked the car up, the service engineer basicially wanted the dealer's name who fitted it as it was going to cross charge them. Apparently they had incorrectly fitted the gasket and hense the smell.

Might be something to check out.
