Default De-cat ?

I am currently running a HKS Super Drager system on the car.
What would be my best choice for a down pipe ? do i have to stick to HKS or can i use a different brand ?
Wouldnt mind a bit more noise from the car.....

Also do i have to have a chip fitted ?

ScoobyP1, loads of topics covering this on P1 over on P1woc Basically, if you go for a decat the car will start to run leaner (they can as standard)and increase the potential of detonation.

Fit a knocklink and run with Octane booster as a minimum until you have enough mods to warrant a remap. I ran like this for 5 months with no problems. The Knocklink will give mega activity with no booster. The booster quietens it down considerably.

You can fit any down pipe you want but i would recommend the Scoobysport/H&S
