Default re mapping?

im running 0.95 on my94wrx(jap) and yesterday run a 13.4 which i thought was good but im told that my car is good far 1.2 maybe 1.3 with the right mods for example getting the fueling correct is this true? i have been advised to get my ecu remapped but how much does it cost? also i dont want to run 1.2 all the time just on track days for obviuos reasons so if i had it remapped to fuel for 1.2 then turned it down to standard wat would happen?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I dont think map switching is available on anything other than newage cars forward, if it was i'd have had it done when I had my MY99 remapped.

less than 1 bar and a 1/4 mile of 13.4 is impressive, then again, you can gain or lose over half a second depending on how you release the car from the line.

When it is fitted, you can fit a switch to go between original map and updated map. Simply solder 2 wires to two connections across a link that you cut and fit a switch.

A boost controller - assume you mean after market - will override the ECU and you can set what you like ... although not sure about the safe margins then.
