I'm buying air con of a scoobyneter and was wondering hob big a job it is to fit? I'm thinking this is something I would be better leaving to a specailist. The system is out of a MY97 car mine is a MY99 so am I right in thinking that the control in the dash will be different? Would anyone have the part number for the bit I would need?

Not sure of the compatibility between those two years of car but I fitted aircon to my 98 turbo last year. If you are a reasonably competent car DIYer and have the Subaru instructions you should be OK.. Mine took just over a day to fit but I had loads of seized screws to prize/drill out. A dealer charges about 4 hours to fita new kit.
