Default Driving car after sitting in the sun

Now it could be me, but the Scoob definitely seems to feel a bit well 'pants' when first driving away after it has been sat in direct sunlight for a long length of time ?? I find if the car is started from cold as in a cool morning then it feels fine but start it when its warm and she seems to hesitate a fair bit for some time. I don't push the car at all until shes warmed up but even then she does feel a little lethargic ?

Could the heat from the sun have any adverse effects on the car when first starting up ?? Surely not

My guess is Heat Soak ?? or the ECU senses an inflated temperature level due to the car sitting still ??

Pain in the **** I know, but squirt some cold water on intercooler! My WRX used to do the same, but never does it when running on OPTIMAX!
