idle control air bypass valve?

is there a difference in specs/settings between the unit on a 2.0l and a 2.2l motor as mine is erratic and my breaker has a 2.2l unit and it is ****loads cheaper than my main dealer?

mine went eratic for no reason, then i found out it was the dump valve needed adjusting(VTA) and the car was fine

should have said that it is throwing a code for the air bypass according to the diagnostics box.
