on the way back from japfest i gained a tiny squeak.i thought it was just the alternator belt but it wernt.seems i have a very small water leak from the pulley on the top left hand side.is that the water pump? if so how much would it cost for a new water pump

 

its not water pump if its top left!!!!!!!

as you look at the engine you have


top left.... power steering pump

top right .... model dependant ....... air conditioning compressor/ dryer


Behind black covers


bottom centre ..... oil pump


bottom right water pump


if it was p/steering i doubt you would get squeel due to the lubricating effect of the fliud,,,, more than likley i would have thought belt slip!!

aircon unit possibly but you need to identify where & what exactly it is leaking from
