Default newby got a boost prob please help

need help? got a wrx my94 had a few mods done 2 months ago, de-cat,forge vta, cone filter, and scooby ecu. Mis-fired when the work was done fault three coil pack and some new plug's. promised 1.1 bar of boost "is this about right for the scooby ecu?" not getting it What im getting is 0.8 dropping to 0.6 in 1st 2nd 3rd and 0.9 dropping to 0.7-0.8 ish in forth and fifth, But not all the time, i can be driving down the road and bang 0.5 bar thats all in any gear. if i stop and re-start the car back to normal, and some times even when im driving it can come and go. i've been told to go for a dawes device to sort the boost out, But if its the ecu and i force the car to boost 1.1 that dont sound good to me but i know nothing. Please help? some advice would be appreciated

Could be going into 'limp home mode' and limiting the boost.

Why don't you take it back to however put in the scoobyecu

Does the CEL (Check Engine Light) illuminate/flash? Sounds like it the two plugs under the dash that are used for ecu reset might be still connected? Otherwise as above.

Me neither...! As you say, if the ECU is limiting boost to 0.5 bar, it's doing it for a reason. The intermittent boost could be down to a sticking wastegate solenoid. Give it a clean with the green sconnectors connected. And check your engine oil isn't any higher than halfway between min and max. Whilst you're under the steering column, might be worth connecting the black connectors on there own and see if there are any faults...

Dont think it is coz it will rev to 7000, if it was in limp mode would only get 3 or 4000 rpm

judge yes mate cleaned the wastegate solenoid, and re-set the ecu still the same! when i had the ecu done the guy left two wire's and if i join them together it will return to the original map going to try that tomorrow it will only boost 0.9bar (but thats more than im getting now anyway) But if it boost ok it must be the scooby ecu, if not maybe the boost solenoid or the map sensor but any of these a dawes will fix and if its not the ecu the fueling will be fine. what you think?

What ECU do you have and is the ScoobyECU the right one for that ECU ?
2C ECU always used to give me the odd problem, like 0.5 Bar limit.
Ensuring the base map was matched to the ECU helps to prevent this (but is not always required).
