Problems with start up
Every now and then I have qutie a bit of trouble starting my car:
MY95 wrx
Hks induction kit, Scorpion Down pipe, decat scorpion centre with After burner back box, Apexi Super AVCR, Running on optimax.
I get in the car and 9 times out of ten she starts on the 1st turn of the key, however every now and then (It seems totaly random) it can take 5 or 6 attemps to start the car. It will just keep turing over on the starter without firing, I can sit there for 10 secs try again and it'll work, other time it can take 4 or 5 mins to start the car.
Anyone got any ideas???

Ive had the same problem recently as tho the fuel is cut or immobilised i eventually found that the connection on the fuel pump was loose inside the connector block. lift up the rear seat on the drivers side and you will see the connector, just pull the block apart and squeeze the terminals together and reconnect, mine started straight away and havent had a problem since!!!! let us know how u get on.

LOL just re-found this thread.
My start up problems were down to a faulty crank sensor. I got one from a breakers for £50 and that sorted the prob straight away
Hope this helps you guys out.
