Default Boost controller choice

I can't quite decide on which boost controller to go for with Apexi Power FC. Choices are: AVC-R or the boost control kit for Power FC. Financial reasons aside, how do you rate the FC Commander's boost control function, compared to AVC-R? Can't quite make my mind up... anyone tried both in the past?

I am going to be mapping with Andy F turbo with supporting mod to go up to 1.4-1.5 bar at around 330bhp with similar figure for torque on a UK MY98.

with out a doubt the avcr as you can get gear specific boost whereas the boost controller kit all you have ie the same boost thru every gear,

youll end up with some excellent 2nd and 3rd gear acceleration with the avcr

That would have been my choice on the initial thought, too. Andy F suggested I get a Power FC Controller, perhaps purely because it's cheaper, and he could somehow compensate for the lack of gear specific boost with his mapping skills? I have asked him earlier today by e mail, but I think he's still on his holiday...
