MY95 WRX Import - for a couple of days now in the morning it stutters into life but pretty much fine on all other starts - any suggestions (Spark plugs maybe)!

oh and a whining noise when pulling away under 3000 rpm

My car, JDM MY96 WRX does the same thing, apart from the whine, when cold or on a damp morning, it starts, but when you blip the throttle, it breifly fires on 3 cylinders then its back to normal, any other time, and once the car is warm, there's no problem.

I had exactly the same thing happen on my V6 mondeo, it turned out to be the HT Leads, just got to change them in the scoob now, with new sparkplugs
