Sick Scooby
My Scooby thou a wobbler last night
Went to overtake a car and it felt like the rev limiter had came in only doing arround 3000 - 3500 rpm and the engine check light came on.
Car seems to drive ok
been on to my local Scooby dealer
Who is basically accusing me of revving the **** off it or missing a gear on a down change.
the guy was Giving it "the car will have recorded how fast it was going gear it was in rev's etc"
If this is the attitude of there service department I cant see that ill be going back to them when I need it serviced etc
anyone any ideas as to what the problem might be ,I know my descriptions not very good.
My car is a MY03 WRX PPP

Not sure if that right or not Tal
But I've been asked by a mate of mine who's a mechanic to ask for the P code
I'm also going to be asking what revs speed gear etc the car was doing

As Mark stated - there's no data log in the ECU.
Unfortunatly you need a secs monitor to read the codes on a new age.
Which dealer is so experienced that they can read ecu's over the phone ?
I thought it was only Maclaren F1's with a modem socket - Muppets !

Not yet !
I've been watching rallies with Rusty a few times but never made a meet !
I'm also a mod on www.ladsoc.co.uk so most of my "Scoobytime" is taken up at meets / run outs / organising events etc
Hope to make on soon though !
