Default Terzo/Classic tuning, is 280-90BHP easy to do?

I'm due to take delivery of a MY98 Terzo next week.

It's already got the PPP pack (ECU/back box/filter I think) on so am guessing it's going to be around the 245bhp mark. ECUTek isn't available (as far as i'm aware because it's a '98, is that right?) so what are my options to go to 280-290ish BHP?

I'm presuming an additional downpipe/centre pipe but short of that I'm not sure which route to take. I'm quite happy to remove the PPP pack and put other bits on, but I'd like to keep the car reliable. Any hints or tips greatfully accepted.

Hi Mate

Power Engineering can remap your ECU EcuTek stylie.

Best route for 280BHP

Full decat Zaust
KNi induction kit with cold air feed / or keep panel filter but improve cold air feed.
Uprated fuel pump and regulator
Power Engineering Phase 2 remap

Generally above this you will require 440cc injectors and a larger turbo.

I have a UK MY98 running 311BHP and 290LBF.

VF24 Turbo (£150 2nd hand)
Full decat (£300 2nd hand)
KNi induction kit (£68)
Intercooler is tilted with Samco hoses and water spray (£80)
440cc injectors (swaped with a rear spoiler but looking at £80 2nd hand)
fuel pump and regulator (£210 from Lateral Performance)
uprated spark plugs (£68)
AP clutch and lightened flywheel (£700)
PE Phase 2 remap (£560 as part of group buy)

Hope this helps

Cheers

Neal

That's about what I thought but wasn't sure what to do with the ECU. Cheers!

I want to keep this car as 'standardish' as possible and generally thought that 280BHP was a good ceiling to aim for, looking at your list I think I was right!

It does help lots, ta!
