Default multispec oils buy caldo oils ltd.

Just thought i'd plug my local oil company in st.helens.

they blend there own oils to quite a high spec, and ship them all over britain, but it has no frills packaging which doesn't look as got as the big brands!

they do quite a range including gearbox and hydrollic(?spell check methinks!) oils and some specialised stuff.

cheap as well somethtng like £7 ish for 5L (not a gallon!) of semi synth 10w 40.

i use there 5w30 fully synth (about 14 pounds) in my subaru. ( i know wot everyone is gpoing to say about it being too thin!)

In any quantaty from 5L up to wot ever you want, 45 gallon, one of those bulk containers on a palette anything!

www.caldo.co.uk (can't do the cicky thing!)

just thought i'd spread the word!

thanks!

5/30's too thin. If they blend their own why can't they do you a thicker one?

I haven't a clue. For an answer you'd need to ask the person who wrote the book, and he's likely to be in Japan.

ummm.... what book have u got?
as you've been told before iirc, the impreza handbooks for uk, europe, japan etc. all state 5w30 is unsuitable for continuous high speed driving in the turbo engine. Is recommended for non-turbo models though.
I think somebody recommended it for bugeye + newer models, subaru america i think, but there thin oils are common to meet us (california?) fuel economy and emission laws/requirements etc...
