Default ENGINE COOLANT TEMP SENSOR???

I HAVE REPLACED THIS SWITCH AS IT CAME UP AS A FAULT CODE, MY 1995 WRX WOULD NOT COLD START AND THE COOLING FANS WERE PERMANENTLY ON. I STILL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM, I HAVE TRIED RESETTI NG THE FAULT CODE BY THE PROPER PROCEDURE, ALSO BY DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY. THE LIGHT IS STILL ON, SHOWS THE SAME FAULT CODE, AND STILL WILL NOT COLD START, AND THE FANS ARE STILL ON!!!!! HELP !!!!

firstly check the green connectors are sdtill not connected, unlikely but worth checking.

Might be a wiring fault?

Usually still starts with this error code..

Are you 100% sure you changed the right sensor, not meaning to be funny, think there is two.. the one you want if under the alternator I think.

check saxonfields.. will find webaddress and post below..
