Default air con

all,

had my car in at the garage the other week for service etc. had auxillary belts changed. they identified that the back part of my cam belt cover has warped due to heat. ( common subaru problem apparently ) and now pushes on the air con belt tensioner.

now everything squeels. everywhere is closed now till tuesday and i need a quick fix.

basically until i can get the job done properly can i take the air con belt off and still run ok without it ( obviously no air con - not a prob in this weather )?

also how do you take the air con belt off ??? just some pointers!

Cool

You may well have to remove the alternator drive belt first, to allow you to then remove the air con drive belt, then refit the alternator one back.
