Question Universal Lamba Sensor?

I have a MY93 which has the o2 sensor in the manifold.
I have just got a magnex downpipe which has the fitting for a o2 sensor at the top.

I was thinking of putting a universal lambda sensor in and running this to my AFR. Does anyone know any problems I might have with this??

If not, where can I get a universal sensor and what is the thread size??

I just bought a lambda from API Engines. It is a Bosch one and sems to be much better than the cheaper alternatives, ie it is still working more than 5 days after fitting! I don't know what the thread size is but I thought it is a standard size.

Fitting a sensor in the downpipe shouldn't cause any problems but you will have to run a live for the heater wire.

you can buy a blanking plug from tsl-motorsport for the job. Only is £11 or so.

If the downpipe you have bought has a hole in it, just plug it.
