If anyone could help me i would be greatfull!
I have a MY99 turbo & when your acc. in all gears i get full boost of 1bar then drops to .6bar & fluctuates between these figures with your foot to the floor! you feel it more in 4th & 5th.
Ive replaced the MAF, plug leads, plugs, most of the vac pipes, ive had the intercooler off & check all the pipes, cleaned out the boost solerniod & checked for leaks!
If anybody as got any ideas that would be great, im wondering if it could be the turbo actator weak or a pin hole in it!

Similar problem in MY00 - fluctuates in 5th between 17psi and 10psi and finally settles at 14psi.

Improved by cleaning dump valve.

More commonly caused by boost control solenoid needing cleaning.
