Scooby ecu i would recommend as even better , re-maps for raised boost and for uk fuel , just plugs straight in and away you go , replacing ecu with another models ecu does work but it will be mapped for 100ron fuel so you will not get the full power potential where as with a scooby ecu you will and is safer ,just my opinion i have one and can only recommend them even if you have to wait a while to get one i have a 93 wrx as well

hope this helps

An STi 2 ECU from memory is either badged as a 6K or 7K. The majority of the 260ps ones are badged Z4.

The STi 2 only have very marginally more boost (about 1psi), so as mentioned above a scoobyECU would be a better option as this will give 4-5psi more then a Z4 ECU.

I thought scoobyecu was only targeted at the 14.5 psi level?

Isn't a z4 running about 12.5?
