Hi,

My friend has had a new uppipe and decat downpipe fitted to his MY94 WRX today and on the way back from the garage going down the M4 it lost all power and the engine is making a real clangy metal grinding unhealthy noise, had to be towed home. Any ideas on what this is?? sounds like the bottom end has gone to me.

If it is the bottom end do you have any idea how much it will cost and any recommended places in N.W London to do this??

mine wemt and got it rebuilt. It blew up again one week later!!
Got a new engine out of a wreck for £200 off of ebay and is running like a dream!!
Not nice when it happens and you are always thinking about pushing the car hard again
