Question oil leak from o/s rocker cover - what sort of job????

hi, i have a 95 wrx import there is an oil smell in car after a run i can see oil on some pipes under the o/s rocker cover gasket so presume it is the rocker cover gasket what sort of a job is it because it looks quite tight and the plugs have each got a coil pack and was wondering how easy they were to remove because they also look quite tight and do the coil packs generaly come out without breaking - i can imagine them to be quite expensive!!

if anyone has had this probleme or done the job any advise would be appreciated

Thanks weis101

Quite easy really. You have to remove the airbox and pipework, then remove the coil packs. They are held in with a bolt but usually come out ok. Then disconnect the breather pipe on top of the cover and remove all the studs that hold the cover. Clean up the gasket, smear thinly with instant gasketand reassemble. Takes about half an hour.
