Default STI PPP OR UPGRADE MYSELF

Hi, will try to make this user friendly

Own-MY00 Turbo wagon
Magnex full de-cat, PE Tek 2, PE Ind kit
At 272 & 260

Was going too modify more, but now have realised with age and cost, a different model would be better platform, oh and advice!

I have 22k max, this needs to include any and all upgrades

The musts!

1 excellent handling, at present I have eibachs fitted on 17inrims eagle f1`s but would like better, even if its beyond my driving abilities!
2 Excellent breaks, Have at present mildley up rated discs and pads but still not good enough
3 as much torq as poss and around 330 to 350bhp
4 Must be a scoob, or dare i say evo
5 No more than two years old

Not worried if it’s a JDM, IMPORT, UK
Not worried if it’s a private sale
Not worried where I need to go in the country

Thoughts so far

My03 sti ppp, if i am lucky, at 301bhp

Myo3 sti , P,E ind kit,P.E Repmap Tek.. De-cat... but don’t know what power output would be.

JDM,S I know they have more power, but I don’t know the facts

Any thoughts?

RSV Racer is selling his STI8PPP @ £22k.

Or buy a Type R, do a 2.5 Litre conversion and get well over 400bhp

Hey virgin hehe

Personally in my most humble opinion would go for the ppp, doing mods yourself is I believe riskier than using the car the way it is (on average). However if you have the time, patience and love the joys of modding then obviously the other route would be better. In the end it is down to you as a person and your personal preferences and goals for your car
