Update on the RA (for anyone that's interested)
Fitted the new MAF last night. Tonight I've chucked fivers worth of SUL (all I could get in a pertorl can) in there and about twice as much Millers as is needed for that quantity of petrol.
Took her out, bin booting her like a goodun up some pretty steep hills, WOT throttle coming pretty close to the rev limiter and ....
.... aint even seen the amber light on the knock link
I'm still getting the hunting idle problem after she's been raced, but I reckon the lambda's fooked too and is causing this, a new one should hopefully been turning up tomoz.

Probably a little pointless saying this with the new one turning up, but if it is a carked lambda sensor screwing up the idle, disconnecting it will almost certainly solve the problem (thus pinpointing the cause).

, and if you fink I'm unscrewing the lambda then .....TBH, I finked the Lambda is totalled. Very light throttle pressure at about 2,500 rpm results in a very sick feeling car (hesitation), which I put down to it be flooded with fuel cos of an underreading Lambda.
Plus the car's done 35,000 miles and bin running on OB all it's life.
