Hi all - major prob, i worrying like mad, please help me out guy's
I know every1 has rattles etc but this one sounds bad....

Got nakerd coil packs, new ones not arrived yet, and today i think one of the packs has given up.

It runs very rough and lumpy, will not tick over smooth and will not accellerate, holds back alot.

Now the noise is on acceleration only, like sumthing is loose, and very tinny and rattley (if that makes sense) is it because the coil packs nakerd or is the turbo going on me now?

There no smoke out of the exhaust, maf ok, no CEL

Please help anyone.... its a nightmare at the moment

That could be the turbo heat shield rattling. I've never heard a turbo rattle, only whine, scrape or grind, but I've not heard too many duff turbos, so I could be completely wrong.

This may be enhanced due to the fact that your car is not running as smoothly as it should.

It could also be any of the heat shielding on the exhaust system - headers etc.

Or it could be something completely different caused by excessive vibration due to the poor running.

i hope it is something thats just loose i.e heat shield etc
anyone shed any light, will try to get it to do it sat in drive and listen to try pin point
