Or maybe piston rings worn ? does the slap ever get that bad that it starts leaking oil into the chamber ?

Unhappy

just checked my levels, coolent was none exsistant. put over 1 1/2 pints in. Looks like new head gaskets time

Anyone know how much i should be looking at for the complete job

Simon

(SyHightower - when i can actually get to my password)

just to add, tried it in daylight today and the smoke is really white and dosent smell bitter like oil smoke, like water in the pistons

Had the same problem with mine a while ago

When i removed the intercooler there was excess oil in there, causing the smoke. This was put down to worn oil seals in the turbo.

Now changed to a TD05FE and all is fine.

Also, what oil are you using? Try switching to Motul 300v Competition 15W50.

Cheers
