Hello Mate
If you look under the steering column you should see 2 x black connectors (male and female) and two green connectors (male & female). they may be taped up, so if you can't see em, have a better look..
With ignition off, you connect the two black ones together, turn on ignition, do not start engine and the CEL ( check engine light) will flash the code to you..
A steady on/off flashing normal indicates system OK
A long flash denotes '10'
a short flash denotes '1'
So
long flash = 10
long delay
long flash = 10
long delay
short flash = 1
short delay
short flash = 1
Total ecu code = 22
it can also show mutiple errors one after enother
Anyway full details how to do and error code numbers are here

Good luck m8
