I'm in a bit of a pickle
i've got a cobra alarm(7928/hf)
which works the central locking system
but its not ,and i can't start the car any advice .
battery is not flat i've re-synchronised the alarm but still nothing
i've had to have it towed from asda nightmare
1st one i've ever seen on a tow truck
and even more depressing is i might not be able to make the m.w.r.9
so if any of you fine gentlemen could shed some light on this little problem

does the engine turn over but not atempt to fire

no nothing at all
it looks as if i hav'nt put my foot on the clutch
i need to do that on mine to start it

can it be bumped off? I know it will be new but try and make sure the starter motor terminal is connected maybe its come off?

i try'd it no joy what is interesting is the door open light is on very dim
i've made sure all doors boot bonnet r shut
does that mean any thing

Sounds like the battery if the interal light is very dim
Have you a battery charger around anywhere? it should only take 15 or so mins to give it enough charge for you to start the car

Oh and dont try to bump start these cars (or any car with a cat actually ) as its the easiest way to kill it
