Default Boost Levels

What boost can i safely run on a Standard MY94 WRX.

And whats the best way to up the boost to that level.

Also how much more power will i get from replacing items like the Back Box, or running a de-cat

What boost can you run safely? Standard.

You MIGHT get away with 1.0bar on the current setup BUT

The only time i would even consider raising the boost on a WRX is if:

a) the fuelling is checked before and after
b) you have a knocklink and a boost gauge
c) you run at the very least on optimax and in my opinion use octane booster to

Do anything else and you'll run the risk of a rebuild.

I've seen it many, many times. Import car, high boost, no precautions...KABOOM!

Decatting is a good idea on the early cars, will net you a fair few horses for sure without touching the boost at all.
