How to make it rumble
#1
In a couple of months I will be Placing an order for a new Impreza WRX.
I went out in a standard one a few weeks back, brilliant but to my surprise there was not the classic rumble noise.
I believe I will have to change the backbox, will just changing the backbox make it rumble or will I need a full system.
Also whats the best System and how much.

Scooby Senior
A BB will give you the rumble no probs! If you want a system (Turbo back) then the choice is endless. Personally, i have a Magnex downpipe and non-resonated centre, with a Scoobyworld Ninja BB
Ninja = £215
Centre = £60 ish
Downpipe = £170 ish
This is one of the cheapest options on the market but you could easily spend 3 times as much on Jap gear if you fancy

Get a Blitz mate, excellent quality and fantastic sound. Got one on my STI8.
Fitting to the standard system is no probs because we are talking quality product. About £360 ish just for backbox or around £550 ish for the system (front cat back). Had the system on 1998 uk turbo, excellent quality, fitment and sound.
Well worth looking at.
Hope this helps.
