my ecu is shot on my 94 wrx import
code 22 knock sensor fault
it wont clear and its definately the ecu

what ecu can i use and has anyone got one they want to sell as i am not doing too well in the wanted department.
my ecu is a

2C (IN BIG LETTERS)
22611 A810
a18 - 000 RY7

and it has 4 yellow sockets

A Z4 ECU should work if you've got a saloon.

Hvae you replaced the knock sensor already?

 

yes mate
6 times and have rewired it
i have tried a ecu from a mates car and was ok
yes it is a saloon also

 

A MY96 or older UK ECU would work too - just get it ScoobyECU'd so you don't loose a bucket load of performance!

In fact, more or less any pre MY96 ECU would work in the above way.
