octane booster??
#2
Do you need to use an octane booster on a jap import
and if you do why?
And if you don't is it going to cause trouble?
* use optimax and octane boost
OR
* use optimax and get a remap for that fuel
AND
* get a knocklink to be on the safe side
so the moral of the story is.. get a remap... and until u do, use optimax plus octane boost

some octane boosters are better than others!
don't waist your money on pro boost, nitrox or any of the other expensive rubbish.
NF is the best one to use but it is in short supply at the moment.
the best one that is readly available is millers octane plus.
hope this helps

NF appears to have disappeared from the UK market - at least, I can't get any from the appointed supplier. Or my phone calls and email answered.
But I think Millers is just as good. I can get it locally or Scoobymania can supply. £3 per tank for +2 RON.
Richard.

Certain irony in that the Google ad on this page suggests Tetra Ethyl Lead (Lead Supreme) as an octane booster which would presumably wreck the 'cat and sensors pretty quickly!!
