It will be in the fuel tank yes but cannot offer advice as to which one to buy. I got my Walboro one from Mark Aigin at Lateral Performance.

Thumbs up

My pump on my '96 wrx packed in last year and I got an uprated FSE unit from SCOOBY MANIA on the net. It's a good unit around 120 pounds. It's fitted in the fuel tank so it's a messy home job. You can have a go but my mechanic said he had to drop the tank which mind you is split in two sections, left and right and to me doesn't sound like something I'd be happy doing out in the rain. Use an up-rated regulator and you should see some increase in power too.

You don't have to drop the tank, that's nonsense. Back seat out, dividing panel out, and remove the panel on the driver's side - the pump comes out with the panel underneath that one, (oh , an dput out the ***...)
