Whats the best way if you can, weld a new tailpipe onto the original back box. I would be using my extra Blitz Nur Spec R system, just want the pipe longer, noy bothered about removing the blitz part of it

I have used a MIG set in the past to weld stainless. You can use steel wire but you need to use C02 gas with an Argon sheild in it.
Once welded you need to treat the weld with some paint as this will still rust.

No No No ! Don't use normal M.S. wire , you need 308 wire and 98% Argon, 2% Oxygen Shield gas. This is a high chrome content wire, and you won't need to paint it afterwards. It'll probably cost more for the wire and gas than it's worth, but if you can find someone to do it for you, who already has the wire and gas, then your laughing.
