Does anyone know if the JDM impreza sti8 has an alarm and immobiliser fitted as standard ??

I don't know whether it has or not but it certainly won't be approved under the UK categories i.e. Cat1 etc. So insurance companies won't insure you unless you get an approved alrm fitted.

So even if it has you will need to get an insurance approved alrm/immobiliser fitted in the UK.

Elephant dont need an approved alarm, so long as it has a manufacturers alarm/immobiliser
