How difficult is it to remove a chargecooler from a Legacy and replace it with an intercooler?

I assume the chargecooler pump can be removed and certain points will need to be welded or bunged up.

As it's an EJ20 engine, can say a FMIC from a WRX be used with minimal alteration?

 

fmic can be fitted

bonnet scoop no good for tmic IMHO, but hacking it out might work
