So which one do you use in a scoob? I've got an MY00 UK car but where I live I have to make a 40 mile round trip to buy Optimax!

And is one bottle per tank? at £13 a bottle that seems quite expensive?

Hi Ed, if your talkin NF. For standard road use , IIRC, you should get about 5/6 full tanks per 1 bottle of NF.

I think its 100 ml per tankful.

If you go by 2ml/litre then 100ml per tank full is about correct. But the bottle is only 300ml (iirc). So your £13 bottle does 3 tanks or £4.33 per tank. Or use 1ml/litre and you'll be at 6 tanks/£2.17 per tank.

Tony.

Cool

Just ordered some NF from Steve at NF (Thanks Mr Felstead), asked how much I should be putting in my Type R, he says between 60 and 70 ml per tankful!

Exclamation

I used 75ml per 50 litres in my STi and never had any knock issues. I have had the car remaped for plain Optimax now, but just to be extra safe i will use 50ml per 50 litres, doubling this dose up on a trackday. If you use a large amount of NF mix you will kill the spark plugs prematurely.

It works out pretty good value for money based on these dosages. Glad to have helped HQ.

I use a 300ml marked jug (designed for baking etc) and keep my old bottles, when they are empty i just pour the NF in the jug then fill each empty bottle with the amount i need and keep those in the car.
