Anyone know what possible reson for fitting the "wobbly" disks as featured on:
http://www.tsl-motorsport.co.uk/brake.html
could possibly give? except of course looking weird and expensive....
Cheers,

If you mean the ones shaped like flower petals, their main advantage is supposed to be a large reduction in weight when compared with a conventional disc, added to improved airflow and pad-facing ability.
I'd be more than a bit skeptical that the benefits would outweigh the losses, but if you want to know more, have a read of this.

Cheers bud, thought weight may be something to do with it, been on MBs for years but it's the 1st time I've seen an automotive application. Looks liks it'd be an advantage for competitive use but I'd imagine the cash'd be better spent elsewhere for trackday/street use...
