No live feed to fuel pump
#1
Any ideas? My 2000 Turbo MY98 cranks fine but won't start. The AA man had a look and found no live feed to the fuel pump - he put a live feed in to the connector underneath the rear seat and it runs fine - take the live feed away and it cuts out after a few seconds. Is this likely to be the fuel pump relay, or a fault with the alarm/immobiliser?

I had a similar problem and it was related to the alarm. The relais that cuts out the fuel pump was "stickt" so when arming the alarm, the relais worked fine, when disarming the alarm, the relais stays put, so the fuel pump never had a chance to pump then...
Problem fixed with a new printboard for the alarm.
