All,

When I ordered my my99 4+ years ago, I was disappointed when my dealer said that they have discontinued the cruise control because of technical difficulties. Does anyone know if they fixed this and is it available as a retro fit on an MY02.

I asked my dealer about fitting to an MY 03 WRX and they said not available for the same reasons so I would assume this is the cases for MY02.

Pretty sure it's something to do with the boost, the fact that cruise control has to keep adjusting the throttle postition to maintain steadu speed could lead to a jerky ride, some of us may enjoy that, but not whilst driving the car!!!

You can aftermarket fit it?

Prob the best is Vaccumm but I know about the boost being a problem.

I retrofitted it on my Porsche 944 Turbo with 280bhp with no problems?
